Due to the addition of the integrated fender design this reel is not convertible to opposite retrieve. No expense has been spared in building the ultimate inline ice reel. The 2015 model is upgraded with an internal gear cover, New 6061 Aluminum Handle w/EVA Knobs, and an incredible frame design to allow anglers to fish a ""pencil"" grip style without rubbing the rim of the spool.
